We're excited to release v0.0.55, focused on giving you more control over how stock takes are created and managed.

🔐 New Feature: Locker stock take permission

We heard your feedback — some users were creating stock takes when they shouldn't, causing confusion or concern.

To address this, we’ve added a new "Locker Stock Takes" permission.This permission controls who can create stock takes — and it’s enabled by default for all users.

How it works:

• Creating a stock take requires the "Locker Stock Takes" permission.

• If a user is assigned to a stock take, they can still:

  • Update the stock take

  • Submit answers

  • End the stock take

• So, you can safely assign stock takes without giving users permission to create them.

(an open stock take viewed by someone without the "Locker Stock Takes" permission and not assigned to them)
